The Susan Rose is a secret reef, sunk with no public notice or announcement. It will no doubt be used for another "period of successional development and monitoring" like the Carrabassett since 2024 and the New England Coast since 2023. The Susan Rose ran aground at Point Pleasant just before 5AM Friday November 17, 2023. It sank near the inlet almost immediately after salvage.

Notes: Raccoons are not really aquatic. They like to live around water so that they can dunk their food. Maybe they're washing it, or maybe they just like wet food, but they will use any water that is handy - a birdbath, swimming pool, or dog dish will do in a pinch.
