Dutch Springs (Lake Hydra) (3/3)

Dutch Springs is now closed.
Thank you for the wonderful years and memories!

A last look at the homepage

I imagine with no one scraping them off, the Zebra Mussels will eventually engulf all the attractions, and anything that was left floating will get pulled down to the bottom. It would be interesting to see if the mussels reach an equilibrium, or if they just choke out the whole quarry. Nothing eats them.

1980 - 2021: The End of an Era

Sadly, 2021 is Dutch Springs' final year of operation. The owner has retired after 40+ years of building and running the facility, and the property has been sold to a developer to become warehouses. See the link in the sidebar.
