Big Time was a steel Feadship yacht built in 1956, donated by its owner Peter Taubler.

After World War II the market for the previously successful Dutch yacht industry was left in ruins. Even after four years of peace, there remained little money or inclination in Europe for ordering pleasure yachts. Encouraged by the Dutch government's export incentives, Feadship (First Export Association of Dutch Shipbuilders), was founded in 1949 as an export association with the intention of selling to American clients. Feadship was officially launched at the 1951 New York Boat Show, which showcased the use of steel, then unused in North America for yachts.

Shipwreck Iberia
Iberia struck by Umbria

How do two ships in the wide ocean collide? It seems unlikely, and yet it happens all the time. Often, the ocean is not all that wide.
