I doubt this is a good place to dive. Even without the river pollution, the bottom is muddy and the water is full of silt. If anyone knows anything different, let me know.

Habitat: shallow coastal waters
Notes: Spadefishes are not quite as tropical as the others on this page, and typically range to New England. They may form large schools. Babies are uniformly black without stripes.
