Capt. Steve as presented countless lectures and talks to a wide variety of schools, groups and organizations on topics ranging by the list below.
He has presented programs for kids in numerous school systems like; Red Bank, Belmar, North Warren HS, MAST and Phillipsburg. The Oceanography for Kids and Mysteries of the Ocean have been presented for audiences in the main auditorium at the NJ Aquarium at Camden. He has also presented the program to children at Dive Shows like Beneath the Sea, and Sea Rovers in Boston.
He has lectured at DEMA, Beneath the Sea, Adventure Expo, Boston Sea Rovers, Discover Diving, Tek Conference, and Our World Underwater in addition to the Explorers Club, numerous local dive shops, clubs, church organizations and groups over the past 15 years.
Captain Steve's lecture programs have been featured in several local papers like the Asbury Park Press.

- Shipwrecks off the NJ Coast Description: Popular scuba diving shipwrecks, local marine life, artifacts, lobsters, spearfishing and U/W photography.
Grade 8- Adult, 40 minutes
- Shipwreck Series: The Emerald. Description: Identifying the Civil War era-Emerald, is a presentation about shipwreck research, artifact hunting and maritime history. The program combines images of the wreck, it's history and items recovered from her wreckage. HS to Adult 30 minutes
- Shipwreck Series: SS Mohawk. Description: One of NJ's great maritime tragedies revealed in this fascinating talk about the history, sinking and diving on this local and often dived shipwreck that changed civil maritime regulations in the 1930's.
HS to Adult 30 minutes.
- Shipwreck Series: USS ALGOL. Description: Multi-media presentation about the sinking of largest ship on the states reef system and her 4 war career. This vessel was reputed to be the model for the film: Mr. Roberts.

- Dive Boat Operations. Description: lustrated lecture about operating a dive boat for personal or commercial use. Learn crew requirements, weather, anchoring, and more. Handbook for boat operators/crew.
Specialize-Adult 45 minutes.
- Building New Jersey Artificial Reefs. Description: Multi-media presentation about the building of shipwreck reefs off the coast of NJ. The science involved, ships and other material. Discussion on the controversy and marine life cycle that inhabits them.
Middle School to Adult 45 Minutes.
- Artifact Preservation. Description: PowerPoint presentation about the simple techniques and tips to preserve recovered artifacts from shipwreck dives. Includes handouts and display of before and after artifacts.
Specialized for divers. 45 minutes with lab
- Diving Atlantis. Description: Dive Travelogue about diving antiquities in the Greek Islands. From Athens to Mykonos to Santorini, visit the spectacular landscape and villages of Greece to the 3000 year-old history of ancient civilization.
Middle school to Adult 40 minutes.
- Mysteries of the SEA. Description: Famous shipwrecks from around the world: Andrea Doria, Titanic, Monitor, Atocha, U-boats and more. Includes marine archeology and shipwreck research/theory.
Grades 4-8, HS and Adult. 30 minutes.
- Oceanography for Kids. Description: Multi-media presentation covering each of the disciplines of study of the ocean: archeology, biology, zoology, tides, environment. Lots of marine animal slides and scuba diving. Handouts/environmental video
Fun look at marine life in oceans and off NJ, like whales,. sharks, and others. Puzzles and word games to play. Handouts. Can be presented to all grade levels from K to 8, HS and Adult. 30 minutes to 45 minutes.
